Stage 1:

Hackers begin to congregate and bet.

Stage 2:

Free stuff starts to become available.  Relaxed fit rules evolve.  HOSTS appear.

Stage 3:

Survey Monkey crops up for Encino Hacker as the prime method to sign up for tournaments.  Hackers get extra drawing entries by showing up, guessing background song or paying $1.

Stage 4:

Hole-In-One and Golfer-Of-The-Year funds evolve.  Neanderthal Hackers only ones guessing background songs.

Stage 5:

Evolved Hacker gets entry into drawings for free stuff by responding to Survey Monkey, assisting in Habitat for U-HACK and/or paying $1.  Drawings are cash where possible.  Two "no show-no call" means next two entries will be non-refundable prepaid to play.
