OUR 2014 ROAD TRIP THROUGH 10 WESTERN STATES
On Day 19 we head toward Durango, Colorado to stay at the Sky Ute Hotel in Ignacio. We stopped for breakfast in Leadville. Our original plan was to do a zip line on the way, but we decided it was best not to push our endurance. It is hard to describe how green everything was on our drive. Colorado had received so much rain that almost all the forest firefighters were sent to California, Oregon or Washington.
Alicia flew in to join us for the last 2 days of our road trip. Here we are rafting down the Animas River on Day 20. Good thing we brought a change of clothes as we got totally soaked!
